Walk Above the Forest

A nature experience combining waterfall, hanging bridges, rainforest trails, wildlife observation and authentic Costa Rican landscapes.

Tour Description

Discover a unique nature experience beginning with a refreshing swim at the impressive Llanos de Cortés Waterfall.

After the waterfall, we continue toward Bijagua, where the treetop adventure begins. You will enjoy an approximately 1.5-mile walk through primary forest, crossing three spectacular hanging bridges ranging from 85 to 105 meters long and reaching up to 35 meters high.

From the bridges, you will enjoy panoramic views that may even reach Lake Nicaragua. This walk is considered easy to moderate, making it ideal for many types of visitors.

To finish the experience, we explore a natural trail in search of wildlife such as sloths, red-eyed tree frogs, blue jeans frogs, toucans, birds, howler monkeys and white-faced monkeys in their natural habitat.

An authentic tour that combines adventure, biodiversity and unforgettable scenery.
